Miss Reid was established in 1883, and is has remained a part of Dunedin for over 140 years.

 
 

We specialise in floral experiences, unique and creative bouquets and arrangements.

Our mission:

To let the flowers do the talking.

We strive to create unique and thoughtful flowers making undeniably beautiful arrangements and bouquets that are customised to the client or customer whatever the occasion.

We try to source as much of our flowers from local growers in the Otago Region. Any other flowers are supplied from New Zealand’s leading flower suppliers. 

Who are we: Our family floral team consists of Jacqui, Frances, and Patsy.

Both Jacqui and Frances have backgrounds in fine arts and floristry.

Delivery

Dunedin flower couriers pick up at 10am and 12pm.

Mosgiel leaves at 12.30pm.

Peninsular goes once a day at 3pm.

Brighton deliveries go once a day at 4pm.

Port Chalmers and Sawyers bay go at 12.30.

Otago north and south coast deliveries including Central Otago, Milton, Balclutha and Alexandra need to be ordered the day before.

All need to be in a water vase, delivery is overnight.

National Orders

Single stem dry flowers and some plants can be sent nationwide in New Zealand. Delivery cost varies depending on quantity and location. Whilst we have a starting rate of $25 this may change based on size, weight and location. We will be in touch if this is the case.

Terms of trade:

All orders will be delivered by 6pm on the arranged date of delivery. Please let us know if you have a preference for morning or afternoon delivery this can be detailed in checkout under special delivery instructions.

Please note: If the recipient is not home the courier will leave the flowers at the front or back door of the address given. Miss Reid does not take responsibility for undiscovered flowers left at the recipient’s address. Please follow up with the recipient if you have any concerns.

Please ensure you give the correct address and a mobile phone number. Miss Reid does not take any responsibility for any incorrect address given, including changes of address. A re-delivery due to an incorrect address given, or no courier access, will require a second delivery charge. Please let us know in advance if there is difficult access for the courier due to building security, a gate with a door code, or a dog.

Flower Availability : All flowers are subject to availability. Please understand if you request a specific colour or flower we will do our best, but we cannot guarantee this, and the best alternative will be chosen by the florist without further consultation. Please give the florist as much creative freedom as possible other than the colour and price options we offer.

Exchange & returns policy: Please note that flowers and plants are perishable; therefore, they are not exchangeable or refundable.
